Process

Every building in the project begins long before the first line is drawn — with deep research, site visitation, and a deliberate refusal to look at other artists’ interpretations until the evidence has spoken for itself. Keith starts by gathering archival documents, maps, letters, and architectural records, then studies the physical site to understand scale, terrain, and historical context. He approaches each structure like a piece of forensic archaeology, piecing together what can be proven, what can be inferred, and what the landscape itself reveals. Only after forming his own evidence‑based understanding does he begin to sketch, translating research and observation into a visual reconstruction that is both historically grounded and artistically alive.
